This internal conflict culminated in a complete breakdown while working as a gardener, resulting in the loss of his job, vehicle, and home within weeks. This period of homelessness became the catalyst for his breakthrough.
A pivotal moment occurred on a Greyhound bus when he encountered a man struggling with cocaine addiction who had lost his daughter. Baz presented him with a choice between continuing his destructive path or choosing recovery. The man chose life, marking the genesis of what would become the RAMS methodology.
Baz began facilitating healing for others, successfully growing a Facebook community from 4,000 to 36,000 members. Following spiritual guidance, he relocated to America with minimal resources, traveling extensively while serving strangers through his story and insights.
In Los Angeles, Baz met Nicola, who recognized his authentic self beyond his performative facade. This relationship taught him that genuine connections flourish when performance gives way to authenticity.
